I nearby city has their hard trash pickup this month so I did a cruise through today and found a HP 932c deskjet printer in the original box with all the cables, manuals, and install CD. I got it home and it powered right up and printed a perfect test page. It has a usb port so it will work well with my higher end Macs.

Cool! I really need to get a printer that will work with my G4. My only one is a Color Stylewriter 1500, which is hooked up to my 6500. It sucks having to change file formats and such, put it on the 6500 from the G4, and then print it out.
I need to find a USB to LocalTalk adapter

Couldn't you just get any cheap USB printer to connect to your G4, so you wouldn't have to deal with all the other fiddling around between computers?

Probably, but that'd cost money. Besides, the Stylewriter is still a perfectly good printer, so why let it go to waste?
/me is a poor student, and is cheap anyways
