This PHPBB theme was created as an original work. Any similarity to existing themes is coincidental (except insofar as good taste is shared by many). This theme was modified from the original subSilver theme.
If you want a copy of it, PM me. I'll try to remove the menubar (custom and only usable on this site anyway), bundle up the theme, and make it generally available.
Similarly, I can make the smilies available for mass consumption as well. And at some point I'll finish the last two.
Anyway, this theme is based on Mac OS 9. Many of the interface elements are drawn directly from the OS. Screen captures were used to get the titlebars, the icons were picked out of the System suitcase using ResEdit, etc.
Oh yeah. If you visit the Apple menu, you can change your desktop background using the Appearance control panel. That's my favorite feature!
For the best experience, I recommend installing the Times, Geneva, Chicago, Charcoal, and Apple Garamond fonts. Wherever possible, these fonts are used to mimic the original OS 9 look.
