A friend of my sister dropped this sucker off earlier tonight. Its the whole setup, Machine, Monitor, Apple Design Keyboard, ADB Mouse II, Multican 15", Color Stylewriter 2400, all the original papers + CDs, a load of other software. The Stylewriter has a weird problem, whenever I go to print something it says that the cart isn't installed, which I don't understand. I just cleaned the head/contacts with rubbing alcohol, and popped in two new carts (I got about six with it) but no matter what, I get the blinking orange light of not printing-ness...
Specs:
75MHz 603
48MB RAM (was originally 8MB, I popped in a 16 and a 32)
1.1GB IDE HDD
CD/Floppy
Comm Slot Modem
System 7.5.1
Not the best outfitted of machines, but hey, you can't beat free!

The 6200CD was our first computer. There's lots of great software on those discs like Power Pete, The Writing Center, and Professor Piccolo!

I had a Performa 6220 CD and a Color Stylewriter 2400 as the first computer I ever bought myself. My Stylewriter started doing exactly as you describe at the end. I finally gave it to a friend who stole the servo motors out of it for a project.

Nice. The 6200 was my first Mac. Little did I know at the time I bought a "road apple". I was quite a workhorse for me.

LEM has rated a couple Macs "Road Apples" that I feel should really be taken off the list...
The x200 series machines really should stay on though, whatever they ever change it to

Poor, underdesigned Macs...
