10.5 - worth it?

Forum IndexMac OS X

So I recently came into possession of an iMac G4. I'm not normally an OSX guy, but looking around it seemed like the only thing worth running on it (OS9 won't run on the later models, and Linux + nVidia = bleargh.) So I got Tiger up and running and properly updated, and it runs nicely.

My question is, is it worth it upgrading it to 10.5? It's the 1.25GHz model, with 64MB VRAM and 1GB RAM (I'll probably wind up bumping this to 2GB, but not just yet.) I've heard mixed opinions about running Leopard on G4 hardware, so I'm just kind of wondering.

iam running 10.5 and DebianPPC on my g4s :p
Heh Smile I have Debian as the sole OS on my G5 quad, but I didn't want to put it on the iMac because of the nVidia chipset. How does 10.5 run on your G4, and what kind of video hardware do you have in it?
