802.11n on PowerPC Macs.

Forum IndexHacks & Exploits

802.11n on PowerPC Macs with standard AirPort Drivers.

First of all you need a Mac OS X Server 10.4.7 Universal which have IO80211Family.kext that contains AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext that support for Broadcom cards like BCM4321, BCM94322. This chipsets are support for 802.11 a/b/g/n on both frequencies 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Second that you need is AirPort 802.11n Enabler.kext which is fully Universal Binary. Install it via Pacifist. Next, find cards with BCM4321 or BCM94322 Broadcom chips onboard. It will work, if doesn't, then you must add Device and Vendor IDs to AppleBrcm4311.kext's Info.plist.

Any 10.5 PowerPC version of Mac OS X compatible with Broadcom Chipsets. But you need to delete OSBundleRequired with Network-Root parameter.
