Have for sale an Apple Laserwriter 12/640PS. It comes with an AAUI to RJ45 ethernet adapter, power cord, duplexer attachment, and extra 500 sheet paper tray. Unit has approx 10,000 pages on print engine (rated to something like 125,000). Unit started to leave gray streaks on the printed page, now it prints a gray haze over the text. It will probably need a new toner cartridge as I was told the transfer roller on the cartridge is probably bad, thus causing the gray streaks. Internal memory has been maxed out. Unit is in nearly mint condition, and I can provide pics upon request. I replaced this unit with a new Brother color laser printer, so I no longer need it. It works with the Mac OS up to 10.4 for sure (I used it with OS 9, 10.2, 10.3, and 10.4) and Windows 2000 Pro. Not sure about other Windows versions prior to 2k Pro. You can use it with XP if you copy the necessary files from an older Windows version. Microsoft dropped support for Appletalk in XP.
