Hey, I offered them up, for free, and had no takers. I then posted a message on 68kmla (before PPCMLA picked back up, otherwise it would have been here, too,) stating exactly what would happen if there were no takers. Still no takers.
Both were electrically and physically in 'noncollectable' condition, and all worthwhile parts were removed before the video was shot. (Floppy drives, RAM, etc.)
It was the worst-condition of my four 5300c's. All the good bits had been transplanted to better-condition ones in my collection. I had a failed hard drive in there, and it was in remarkably good physical shape after being shot. No round hit it square-on, just dented. (In the past, we've shot server-class hard drives, and some of the massive 3.5" x 1.6" high ('half-height' instead of 'third-height') ones can stop even high powered rifle rounds. (I think a .30-06 from an M1 Garand went through five or six platters in an eight-platter monster, but the round stayed in the drive, it didn't exit.)
