Best Version of X for a Powerbook G4

I have a 1.33GHZ Albook, 12" 1.25gb of ram, original 60GB HDD and a DVD burner superdrive. Currently it has 10.4.11 on it, would it be worth it to attempt leopard on it?

Current Mac:
Powerbook 1400c/166 with os 7.6.1

leopard runs great on my emac with lower specs than yours. my friend also runs leopard on an ibook w/ similar specs to your powerbook, i'll say go for it!

besides, if you really hate leopard you can always reinstall tiger

or even better, partition the drive in tiger w/ at least an 11gb partition for leopard, and install it on that partition to try it out

Ran a 1.33GHZ White Book with 512mb RAM and it ran perfect! Go for it!

Leopard or Tiger. Depends what you need. Leopard has a few new technolgies but is overall a little slower than Tiger and there is no classic mode. Right now Tiger is considered sufficient for most recent technologies but the day may soon come where you need Leopard to stay reasonably current and will be forced to upgrade.
