Hello fellow Mac enthusiasts!
I have decided to part with all of my remaining pre-G3 Macs along with
a number of monitors, printers, accessories, and computer books. Most
of the items below are FREE to anyone willing to drive to Columbus,
Ohio (USA) and pick them up!! A few things are for sale though.
Sorry, but I have no interest in shipping the vast majority of this
stuff.
My goal is for every one of these items to find a new home where it
will be used, loved, and appreciated. I am sure that I do not need to
say this here, but I am _not_ interested in giving any of this stuff
away to resellers or recyclers.
If I receive multiple email requests for several computers within a
short period of time, I will try to be fair and divide things up.
Priority may be given to people who can pick up their claims sooner
rather than later. I'd like everything to be gone by the end of
August.
Please contact me via the following email address instead of replying
to the forum. I will update the forums as things are taken.

*** FREE MACS ***
PowerMac 7600/132 Mhz, 1.2GB HD, 16MB RAM, AV card
Can boot from CD or floppy but not from the HD most of the time.
(Probably just needs a new HD).
http://lowendmac.com/ppc/power-macintosh-7600.html
PowerMac 7100/80 Mhz, 700MB HD, 48MB RAM, CD-ROM
Has a "NuBus" video card that supports Apple monitors with 15-pin
connectors in addition to the motherboard video.
http://lowendmac.com/ppc/power-macintosh-7100.html
PowerMac 7100/66 Mhz, 250MB HD, no RAM, no CD-ROM
*For Parts* The 7100/80 had a bad power supply so I swapped it with
this machine. Has a "NuBus" video card similar to the 7100/80.
I have a PowerMac System Software 2.0 disc for this computer.
Mac LC 575, 33 MHz 68LC040, 320MB HD, 20MB RAM, CD-ROM
I have a System 7.5 disc that works with this computer.
http://lowendmac.com/500/performa-575.html
Mac LC III, 25 MHz 68030, 160 MB HD, 36 MB RAM
System 7.5 installed
http://lowendmac.com/lc/macintosh-lc-iii.html
All of these computers were bought from university surplus sales or
given to me when their original owners no longer wanted them. As
such, I do not have the original software disks for most of them and I
do not have enough keyboards and mice (or even power cords) for all of
them.
*** FREE PERIPHERALS ***
4 ADB keyboards (one per computer please)
2 ADB mice (one per computer please)
2 Apple Multiple Scan 15" displays
Apple Color Plus 14" display
Macintosh Color display (M1212)
Laserwriter Select 360 printer
Imagewriter II printer (with manuals, two ink carts, paper)
Zoom 56k modem (serial)
2 9GB UltraSCSI internal hard drives
DB-15 adaptor for old Apple monitor ports (frayed but "works")
Ethernet AAUI to 10Base-T adaptor
*** FREE JUNK ***
I also have an old 486 "server tower" with a VGA monitor, PC keyboard,
trackball, modem, and Windows software that you are welcome to.
*** POSSIBLY FREE MAC ***
$40 or FREE if you take all of the other Mac computers and
peripherals listed above (you don't have to take the PC):
PowerBook 1400cs, 133 MHz PPC 603e, 1.2GB HD, 16MB RAM, CD-ROM, floppy
Korean-U.S. keyboard, Korean and U.S. System 7.6 CD
http://lowendmac.com/pb2/powerbook-1400.html
I bought this computer "new" in 2001 and still have all of the
original materials that came with it (box, carrying case, software
disks). I am including with it a Global Village PCMCIA card which
provides 56k FAX/modem and 10Mbps ethernet. Unfortunately, the
battery is old and lasts less than 20 minutes. There seems to have
been a common problem with the front face cover of the removable
CD-ROM drives on these machines coming off. Mine is loose on one end
but still attached. Otherwise, the machine and case are in good
condition. Prospective buyers are welcome to look the machine over
and try it out before purchasing.
