Hi, I am here... I think.
Yes, I've joined, registered.... or something like that.

I had to use an alternate email address and then change it to the desired one after registering because the forums didn't like the thecowsaysmoo.org domain name and thought I was a spam bot.

I've got an 8600 w/1GB of RAM that I got for free,

And I've got a gigabit ethernet G4 that was upgraded from a dual G4/450mhz to a Dual G4/1.8Ghz via Sonnet duet upgrade....

My first Mac was a PowerMac6100/60 which I used for several years before it started having bad problems due to overheating. I had to give it up a while ago... my only regret is pulling the 4.3GB hard drive but not the 1MB L2 cashe I had added to it....well that and getting rid of the Multiscan 14 AV monitor along with it.

The rest of my computers are all older 68k macs, Amigas, Commodores, Apple II's, Ataris, and TI's. I'm hopelessly addicted.

Welcome to the army!

It's not very busy here, though.
Welcome to the PPCMLA. As Anonymous Freak mentioned, it's not as busy here as it used to be, but it's still a great place to discuss classic PPC Macs. This is a non-official sister site to the 68KMLA (at least to my knowledge Razz).
Welcome!

Unofficial, indeed. The site was never officially endorsed by the 68kMLA admins, and when the 68kMLA recovered from the great server crash of 2007, they blessed limited PowerPC discussion on the 68kMLA. Naturally, with so many of our users double-dipping and with the 68kMLA being already established, much of the discussion remained there.

But I still think this site has legs, and as more PowerPC Macs become obsolete, this site will be more popular.

Welcome to the club! Power to the PowerPC!

Peace,
Drew
