I now have a complete collection (one from each 'line') of Apple Studio Displays. I have had an original (dark blue, with the old Apple DB-15 video,) one for a long time, but its backlight is out, and it had no power brick. A year or so ago, I got a pair of Blue and White (with VGA video, but still an ADB plug for the data connection,) displays, but one was failing, and only had one power brick. (It works fine for about 10 minutes guaranteed, then slowly the display fades to white over the course of 10 minutes to an hour.)
Well, this week I got a Graphite (DVI video, USB data,) and a "Lucite" 17 inch (ADC) display. I have two systems with ADC, both Digital Audio G4s, one with Rage 128 Pro, one with GeForce 2MX. I wanted to get the three working displays on one system, so I tried putting the PCI Radeon from my B&W G3 in and found that it will only work with the other ATI card, not with the GeForce card. So, without further ado, I submit a picture of the three displays on one system! (When I am done, I will put the Radeon back in the G3, and relegate the second G4 back to 'spare' status.) Although, just for fun, I decided to put the dark blue one in the picture, too. It's neither powered on, nor plugged into anything, though.
