By-and-large this combination has been trouble-free for more than 24hr, but there is an oddity that, so far, concerns only this Forum. I have two Indigo CRT iMacs side-by-side. Both are Summer 2001 models (500MHz), with the latest OS updates, 1GB and 768MB of RAM and running OS 10.4.10 and 10.3.9 respectively. I am writing from the 10.3.9 machine (while the left-hand and 10.4.10 iMac plays with Retrospect).
The Forum index on the right-hand Panther machine displays as it has since I joined, with rounded-corner radio buttons and a seriffed typeface (of the Times family?) for Forum cross-heads, as also it did formerly on the Tiger machine. Since the upgrade to 10.4.10, however, Forum cross-head display on the Tiger iMac has been in a larger, bold sans-serif (Arial-like) face, and the log-in radio buttons, at least, in rectangular form.
Has anyone else experienced this oddity?
