appledesign powered speakers?

Forum IndexMess Hall

Hey, there's a set of the original appledesign powered speakers at my school's surplus store, and I was wondering if anybody knew how easy it is to get the power adaptor for these/ I looked but couldn't find it.

They're only $5, I will probably pick 'em up anyway.

For $5, I'd get them even if they don't have the wallwart. You can always go to RadioShack with the specs, and they'll find you the appropriate DC power adapter.

Peace,
Drew

Yeah do it, they're great speakers for $5
Oops, I ended up not getting them, I was more worried I wouldn't be able to find the appropriate PSU. There's a mild chance they'll be there later on, like in August, but that one's unlikely. (I'm back at home of the parentals now.)

I missed the Quicktake100 too. - Wow, I've missed a lot of nifty apple items from Surplus. Razz

You do realize that you WOULD have been able to get the appropriate adapter from radio-hack, right?

I realize that now, but my mind was fried from Finals when I was still on Campus on Wednesday. Unfortunate, but true.

A similar thing once happened to me. I was at school at the end of the spring semester, and I was returning books at the bookstore. I happened to walk over to the IT section, and behind the counter was a set of Apple headphones hanging on the wall. They wanted $20 for them.

I had a brain fart and didn't snatch them up. When I went back next semester, they were gone.

Sad

Peace,
Drew

Yeah, they were also included in the old Multimedia Kit, if I remember correctly. They seem like nice headphones, I'd rather have that than the ipod headphones. Razz
