Welcome to the site!
You don't actually need to have a working PPC to participate here, it's just helpful.
As far as that video adapter goes, for what mac is it? There might be somebody among us who has an extra one, if you were to post it in the Post Exchange forum.

9-pin to VGA? I think only PCs with CGA output used 9-pin video, but I may be wrong.
What is the model of the system you've got?

Ack not 9 pin sorry
I think its the "apple to VGA" thing, whatever that means.
I don't have a system... but I guess I better get looking if I want to contribute.
basically my dream machine is a PM6500. I had one many moons ago and destroyed. I haven't ever lived that one down and regret it. That and an IBM x30 but that is another story.

That's sad to hear. How was the 6500 destroyed?
The 6500 has a fantastic design. I really love it. It's really a shame that running OS X on them is so difficult. Just a little more expandability (another PCI slot and/or a genuine CPU upgrade) would have made this a truly wonderful midrange machine...
Peace,
Drew
