granted, it's a bit steep on price, but look at it wrom what it comes with:
it's the 300mhz PDQ (series II) with the sexy 14" screen.
it comes with 2 batteries. add to that one that needs to be reset from my dead 13" WS series I
it comes with the DVD-ROM kit (drve+PC Card). this alone goes for $100 on ebay, or $100 for each peice on online resellers
it has a PMU issue, which I am sure I can fix. probibly command control shift power, or whatever the combo is. it also needs a hard drive, which I have a nice 40gb sitting in my old bracket ready to go in it.
oh, and if the reset of the PMU doesnt work, I can yank the one out of my old wallstreet. my old one has a few good parts, like the PMU, mobo, PC card cage, keyboard, charge card, and DC/sound board. some of the case plastics too, though it has some that are badly damaged.
I love the wallstreet. built like a tank, and very expandable.
oh, I have a wifi card I can try with that ioxperts driver.
I plan on turning it into an ultimate mac OS 9 machine. I know, I can install tiger on it, but I dont wanna.
I almost forgot, I have a 128mb stick to throw into it. add that to the 64mb, and that will bring it up to 192mb, the apple limit. I know it can take up to 512mb. my old WS had 160mb (128+32mb).
so, watcha think?
